Swing Tag Resources

Custom swing tag lifestyle display

Use this print and packaging resource library to plan a custom swing tag before you request a quote. The guides explain the connected decisions that affect format, material, artwork, finishing, attachment and production readiness.

Start with the terminology and buying guides if the specification is still open. If a designer is already preparing artwork, go directly to the file, colour, bleed and finishing guidance. Each article links to the next practical decision so you can move from an idea to a complete brief without guessing.

Use the library in three stages

1. Define the job

Decide whether the tag needs to identify a product, carry price or care information, support a promotion, provide traceability, or add a presentation detail. That purpose determines the usable size and information hierarchy.

2. Build the specification

Choose a format, card direction, print sides, hole position and attachment that work together. Consider how the tag will hang, be handled and be removed—not only how it appears in a flat artwork file.

3. Preflight the artwork

Check bleed, safe area, colour mode, image resolution, fonts, codes and any separate foil or varnish layer. A final preflight helps prevent avoidable proof changes and protects the production schedule.
