A sample pack is most useful when it answers a defined question. State whether you are comparing surface texture, card colour, rigidity, print character, lamination, foil, eyelets or attachment materials. A focused request gives the sample a clear role in the final swing tag brief.

Review each sample beside the real garment, bottle, box or product rather than under office lighting alone. Check scale, contrast, feel and the way the attachment sits. A printed example demonstrates a production direction, but it does not guarantee an exact colour on a different stock or finish.

Record the sample name and the property you want to reproduce. The final quote still needs finished dimensions, quantity, printed sides, artwork, hole position, finish and attachment. If colour or tactile feel is critical, identify that priority before proof approval so it can be checked against the named material.
