- Standard Proportions: 60mm wide × 85mm tall (matches standard garment tag height while maintaining crest proportions).
- Apex Drill Hole: A 4mm drill hole positioned top-centre, minimum 5mm below the upper flat horizontal edge, ensures balanced, upright vertical hanging without tilting.
- Bleed & Safe Margins: 2mm external bleed following the custom shield dieline; maintain 4mm margin from all curved borders for internal text and logos.
Finishes for Heritage & Outerwear Branding
Shield tags pair exceptionally well with blind embossing or debossing to create a raised tactile crest. Adding a brass or antique gold metal eyelet at the top drill hole reinforces the heritage aesthetic while preventing cord wear on heavy jackets and tweed garments.
