Swing tags, also called hang tags or swing tickets, are printed card tags attached to a product with string, elastic or an eyelet. They carry the brand on the front and practical details such as the price, size, barcode or care notes on the back.
A standard rectangular or square tag is the usual starting point. The most common size is 85 × 55mm, the footprint of a bank card, with 100 × 60mm and 70 × 70mm square as the usual alternatives. Those proportions work across clothing, accessories, gifts, food packaging and event merchandise.

Start with the finished tag size and make room for the hole position, string and any important information. Keep fine text away from the drilled hole and trimmed edge. If your tag includes foil, Spot UV or embossing, identify the areas clearly in your artwork notes.

Print-ready PDF artwork at the finished size is the most reliable, with text converted to outlines, CMYK colour and a 3mm bleed, set up as shown on the template for your format.
