Description

A product information tool

Standard swing tags for products

Swing tags—also called clothing tags, hang tags or swing tickets—are a practical printed piece for retail products, handmade gifts and business packaging. They give your brand an unmissable place for product details while making the first physical interaction feel considered.

A standard rectangular tag is the versatile starting point: enough space for a logo, price, barcode, care instructions or story, with proportions that work across clothing, accessories, gifts, food packaging and event merchandise.

Where standard tags work

Card, colour and finish

Card, print and finishing options

Material and finishing change how a standard swing tag feels in the hand. Coated card gives clean colour reproduction; uncoated and kraft stocks add texture and are useful where information needs to be written by hand.

  • Card stocks: Coated, kraft, holographic and metallic choices in the guided form.
  • Printing: Single or double-sided, with colour and special-colour options.
  • Finishing: Natural, gloss or matt, with hot foiling, Spot UV, embossing and debossing options.
  • Attachment: Black or white lock string, elastic, rope string and grommet preferences.

Artwork and file guidance

Artwork preparation

Artwork and file preparation

Start with the finished tag size and make room for the hole position, string and any important information. Keep fine text away from the drilled hole and trimmed edge. If your tag includes foil, Spot UV or embossing, identify the areas clearly in your artwork notes.

Your quote request can include PDF, AI, EPS, JPG, PNG or ZIP artwork. If the design is not final, send the product details first and explain what the tag needs to communicate.
