A distinct tapered silhouette
Shield swing tags for heritage apparel & goods
Shield-shaped swing tags, also called crest or badge tags, have a tapered outline that reads as traditional and established. The silhouette frames a central crest, monogram or club badge, which is why it suits heritage clothing, denim, sports clubs and school uniforms.
The shield is die-cut to its outline, so artwork needs bleed that follows the shoulders and the point, with type kept inside the wide upper half. A metal eyelet reinforces the hole on heavy denim, leather goods and outerwear.

Keep text and logos at least 4mm inside the cut line, and extend the background 3mm past it, as the shield template shows.
