Interlocking jigsaw piece
Puzzle Swing Tags
A puzzle tag interlocks with another piece, so it is usually specified as a set rather than as a single tag.
- In stock online. Swing tags are configured and ordered online from one tag; briefs for several designs or very large runs can also be quoted through the Custom Tag Builder.
- Free UK delivery. Standard online orders are delivered free to one UK address.
- Free reprint or refund if faulty. Report faulty, damaged or incorrect tags within 30 days of delivery and we reprint them or refund you in full, with free return postage if a return is needed. Because every order is printed to your specification, change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Your statutory rights are not affected.

A product-specific format
Puzzle Swing Tags for product presentation
Puzzle Swing Tags give product teams a dedicated format for the information and presentation requirements of the item being sold. The specification should begin with the product it will be attached to, then account for the information the tag needs to carry.
Use the form to record the final size, card direction, print sides, finishing and attachment for puzzle swing tags. This keeps the practical decisions together before artwork is supplied or confirmed.

Additional information
Build the specification
Puzzle Swing Tags specification
- It is a set, not a tag
- The shape only means anything if the pieces actually fit. Specify how many pieces make a set and whether every piece is identical or unique.
- Tab and blank tolerance
- The tab has to be cut tight enough to hold and loose enough to separate. That tolerance is the hardest part of the die and the reason the shape costs more.
- The tab neck is fragile
- All the interlocking force goes through a narrow neck. Heavy board is not optional on this shape.
- Hole placement per piece
- If every piece hangs, each needs a hole that does not cut into a tab. On a unique-piece set that is a different decision for every piece.
Artwork and file guidance

Plan the finished format before export
Keep essential puzzle swing tags copy clear of the trim edge and attachment area. The page-specific artwork guidance explains the considerations for formats, holes, folds and variable product information.
If puzzle swing tags artwork is not final, submit the product and specification details first. This gives the production conversation a clear starting point without forcing a premature file upload.

Questions and answers
Questions before you order
Puzzle Swing Tags FAQs
Do the pieces actually interlock?
They should, and that is the whole point of specifying this shape. It also means the die needs a tighter tolerance than any other shape we cut, which is the main reason it costs more.
How many pieces make a set?
Whatever you specify, but tell us at the quote stage. A four-piece set with four unique dies is a very different job from four identical pieces cut from one.
What board weight is needed?
Heavier than a standard tag. The interlocking force passes through a narrow tab neck, and on a light board that neck crushes the first time the pieces are pulled apart.
