Three-sided outline
Triangle swing tags for bold, directional designs
Triangle swing tags use a strong three-sided outline that draws the eye in one direction, which suits streetwear, sportswear, outdoor brands and short, bold messages. The usable area shrinks quickly towards the tips, so a triangle works best with one word, a logo or a price.
Rounded corners make the points more durable on products that are handled a lot. Triangle is not a preset shape in the builder, so choose Custom Tag, upload or describe the outline, and say whether it should hang point-down or point-up.

Place the main line of text across the widest part of the triangle and let the design narrow with the shape. The 70mm triangle template shows the safe area inside the three cut edges.
Keep the hole clear of the tip it hangs from, with enough card around it to stop a narrow point tearing.

How much can a triangle hold?
Less than any other common outline of the same width, because two of its three corners taper away. Plan for a mark and one short line.
Where does the hole go on a triangle?
Usually through the widest edge so the tag hangs point-down. Punching near a point leaves too little material and the tag tears.
Should the corners be rounded?
Sharp points on a triangle bend and scuff in handling, so a small radius on each corner is worth adding unless the sharp point is the design.
Does a triangle suit a barcode?
Rarely. The tapering width makes it hard to keep the quiet zones intact — put the barcode on the reverse or choose a rectangle.
