Pentagon Swing Tags at 50 × 75mm on coated one side 350gsm card, printed full colour on one side, all-inclusive with free UK delivery. Other sizes, cards and finishes are repriced in the order panel; quantities in between pay the rate of the quantity below, and runs above 10,000 tags are quoted.

Pentagon swing tags for crest and label shapes
A pentagon swing tag looks different depending on which way up it hangs: point-down it reads as a crest or badge, point-up as a label or house shape. That makes it useful for heritage, quality and award-style branding without the detail of a full shield outline.
Pentagon is not a preset in the Custom Tag Builder, so choose Custom Tag and say which way up it should hang, because that decides where the hole goes. Keep essential copy in the wide part of the shape rather than the point.

- A bespoke outline is cut to its own profile, so artwork needs bleed that follows the curve and a safe margin that keeps type off the cut line the whole way round.

Prepare the artwork
Plan the finished format before export
Start from the 65mm pentagon template and fix which way up the tag hangs before placing anything. A point-down crest puts the hole at the top edge; a point-up label puts it at the point.
Hold type inside the widest part of the shape, and keep a crest or badge centred on the vertical axis so the tag looks balanced.

Which way up should a pentagon hang?
Point-up gives a stable flat base and reads as a label; point-down reads as a crest or shield. The hole placement changes with the orientation, so decide before artwork.
How much usable area does a pentagon give?
More than a triangle, less than a hexagon. The flat edges hold type well and only the single point is difficult to use.
Is a pentagon the same as a shield tag?
They overlap. A shield outline usually has curved upper shoulders where a pentagon has straight edges, so ask for a shield if the curve matters.
Does the shape affect the attachment?
Only in where the hole sits. Keep it centred on a flat edge rather than near a point, where the board has least material to resist tearing.
