Description

Scannable precision

Tags built for connectivity

QR codes transform a simple swing tag into a digital gateway, linking customers to care videos, brand stories, or exclusive discounts.

For back-of-house, accurate barcodes (EAN-13, UPC, Code 39) are essential. Our digital presses ensure the contrast and edge definition needed for 100% reliable scanning.

Data tag options

Data tag specifications

Configure the tag for reliable scanning.

Card and weight
We recommend smooth silk or coated cards to ensure ink doesn't bleed, keeping barcodes sharp.
Variable data
We can print unique sequential numbers or variable barcodes across your print run.

Card and finish

Finishing data tags

Avoid interference with scanners.

  • Finishing: Avoid gloss lamination or spot UV directly over a barcode or QR code, as reflections can prevent scanners from working.

Artwork preparation

Preparing artwork for barcodes

Barcodes and QR codes MUST be supplied as 100% Black (C:0 M:0 Y:0 K:100) on a white or very light background.

Ensure a clear "quiet zone" (white space) around the barcode to allow scanners to read it correctly.

Can you generate the barcodes for me?

We recommend you supply the barcode graphics in your artwork. If you supply a spreadsheet of EAN numbers, we can generate the codes for an additional artwork fee.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order: a single tag can be bought online, and the product page shows fixed prices for every available quantity from one tag upwards. Use the quote form when a bespoke configuration is required.

Can I see a physical sample before ordering?

Use the sample request page to ask about qr & barcode tags materials and finishes. Availability and the appropriate sample selection are confirmed against the product brief.
