Large swing tags give room for full care and composition panels, product stories, instructions or diagrams, which is why furniture, homeware and outerwear brands often use them. Anything above about 100 × 80mm is generally treated as an oversized tag.
A bigger tag swings further and creases more easily, so it usually needs heavier card and a reinforced hole. The Custom Tag Builder offers card up to 1200gsm and metal eyelets; give the finished size and describe how the tag will be handled so the weight can be matched to it.

What counts as a large swing tag?
Anything above roughly 100 x 80mm is generally treated as oversized, which changes both the board weight and the attachment you should specify.
Does a large tag need heavier board?
Yes. A large tag on light board bends under its own weight and curls at the hole, so board weight should rise with the dimensions.
Does a large tag need an eyelet?
It usually should. The bigger the tag, the more leverage it exerts on the hole as it swings, and a reinforced eyelet prevents the tear that follows.
Is a large tag more expensive?
It uses more board and fits fewer to a sheet, so cost rises with area. Folding a smaller tag is often cheaper than printing a large flat one.
