A diamond swing tag is a square or rhombus hung from one point, which makes a simple shape look deliberate on a rail. It is often used for promotions, new-in and limited-edition markers, and by brands that want a geometric shape without a complex outline.
Text runs across the widest part of the diamond, so keep it short and centred. A square tag with the hole in one corner gives the same effect; for a true rhombus with longer points, choose Custom Tag in the builder and give the height and width.

How is a diamond tag different from a square?
The cut is the same; the difference is where the hole goes. Punching a corner turns a square into a diamond, which changes the whole visual weight of a display.
How much text fits on a diamond?
Less than the square it came from, because the usable rectangle sits inside the rotated outline. Short centred lines work; long lines run into the side points.
Do the points get damaged?
They are the first part to scuff, so a small radius on each point is worth adding unless the sharpness is the design.
Where should the hole sit?
Through the top point, with enough clearance that the remaining material does not tear when the tag swings.
