Food and drink tags can add a story, serving suggestion, promotion or batch reference, but they should not obstruct mandatory packaging information. The tag must suit the container, storage conditions and packing line.
Container fit
Measure bottle necks, jar shoulders, box handles and closure areas. Check that a hanging tag cannot slip off or cover a seal.
Environment
Consider condensation, refrigeration, grease and abrasion. Ordinary paper board may not suit every damp or high-contact setting.
Information responsibility
Keep required ingredients, allergens, quantity, date and producer information on the legally appropriate label or packaging.

Production notes
Turn the idea into a workable tag
Bottle neck tags and printed bottle tags are designed around the container; standard, kraft and QR tags can support boxes, jars and gift packs when the attachment is tested.
QR codes need a stable light background, adequate clear space and a final-size scan test. Do not place a code where the tag will curve sharply or become wet.
